Rowan Lodge We believe good nutrition and hydration is vital for the health and wellbeing of our residents. Our talented Catering Team provide freshly prepared meals on-site every day, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. We continually look at new and exciting ways to encourage nutrition and hydration; from smoothie making to baking classes, food tasting and special dining experiences and participate every year in Nutrition & Hydration Week.
Please view our Sample Menu below, specific allergy and dietary requests are always catered for, including modified diets for residents with dysphagia. Drinks and snacks are available throughout the day for our residents to enjoy.
Every day we strive to create a pleasant dining experience for our residents and in addition we often host special dining experiences such as a ‘Night in at the Opera’ – a silver service dining experience with a performance of Phantom of the Opera, ‘The Ritz at Rowan’ and a Fortnum & Mason afternoon tea party experience complete with F&M products.
To ensure an inclusive dining experience for all, we have specially designed crockery and cutlery for residents with dexterity challenges.
We can also provide a private dining space for a special family occasion.
