Click here to register your interestNursing care is for people who have more complex care needs in addition to personal care, due to a medical, physical or mental health condition, or long-term illness, that require intervention by a trained nurse. If you or a loved one has a clinical nursing need such as wound care, catheter care, tube feeding or specialist medication by injection e.g., for diabetes, then you will typically need nursing care.
At Forest Care, four of our five homes across Surrey and Hampshire have experienced registered nurses on-site 24-hours a day (Elm Lodge is purely residential care). If you or a loved one only need support with daily tasks such as washing, dressing and eating, then you will typically need residential care. Our compassionate and experienced teams provide 24/7 support for our residents with all their personal care, medication and other daily needs.
We involve families in care planning to ensure each resident has an individual care plan that meets all their medical, physical, emotional and social needs, and we work closely with families to ensure that the move for their loved one is a smooth and positive one. It can be an emotionally sensitive time, so from the outset we create continuity and reassurance wherever possible. Our open-visiting policy means family and friends are welcome at any time. We also support our residents and their families with palliative care and end-of-life care. Our Home Managers are here if you wish to talk about your loved one’s care or any aspect of the home.
“We are very happy with the excellent care that my mother receives at Rowan Lodge. She has complex needs, and the nursing team does a great job in managing this and supporting us, whilst the whole care team interacts with her in a warm, friendly, and attentive way.” Relative review on carehome.co.uk.
