Elm Lodge

Our dedicated activities team prioritise resident wellbeing by organising a variety of joyful and meaningful activities and experiences for our residents. This includes activities tailored for residents who are less mobile and able. Activities are adapted to the daily wishes of residents and their cultural interests and supported by their life-stories in line with Elm Lodge’s ethos of a person-centred approach to care. We involve families in care and activity planning to gain a personal understanding of what really matters to each resident and learn about their favourite pastimes and hobbies so we can tailor activities to suit their preferences.

Some of the many activities we provide are; themed tea parties and dining experiences, cultural days, floristry workshops, arts & crafts, exercise classes, gardening, countryside walks, live musical entertainment and trips out to nearby attractions. Community outreach is important at Elm Lodge as well as intergenerational activities and supporting residents with their individual hobbies. Residents are always free to choose where and how they spend their time, and we respect our residents’ preferences for privacy and choice.
