Residents enjoy spacious and homely communal areas for entertaining and dining, a dedicated activities room, hair salon, pub, gallery, family room and cinema. Outside, a landscaped garden and tranquil courtyard provide space for relaxation, complete with a sensory garden.
With compassionate and experienced staff that are trained in specialist dementia care, on-site dementia care nurses 24-hours a day and complementary therapies, the team at Holly Lodge are committed to providing the highest standards of person-centred dementia care support to ensure every resident is happy, secure, and fulfilled in their day-to-day life. Our activities team prioritise resident wellbeing by organising a variety of meaningful and joyful group, individual and one-to-one activities and experiences for our residents living with dementia. This includes activities tailored for residents who are less mobile and able. Activities are multi-sensory, designed to alleviate dementia symptoms and help to improve concentration and communication, and encourage reminiscence and social interaction.
Our activities at our Surrey care home are planned around each person living with dementia in accordance with their care needs, their daily wishes and cultural interests and supported by their life-stories in line with Holly Lodge’s ethos of a person-centred approach to care.. We involve families in care and activity planning to gain a personal understanding of what really matters to each resident and learn about their favourite pastimes and hobbies so we can tailor activities to suit their preferences.

To provide the care our residents deserve, we set our staffing levels above industry-standard ratios, to enable a more-relaxed environment for our residents where person-centred care can be delivered without having to be rushed. We have Nurses on-site 24-hours a day.
Our talented Catering Team prides themselves on offering freshly prepared meals every day using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. We continually look at new and exciting ways to encourage nutrition and hydration. Specific allergy and dietary requests are always catered for.

Choosing a care home can be a difficult and emotional process and we understand the impact of a dementia diagnosis on residents and their families. Congratulations to Holly Lodge who won Forest Care’s ‘Love your Garden’ competition! A special thanks to Gardener Andy for his upkeep of the gardens at Holly Lodge, and his collaboration with our Activities Team and Maintenance Manager Claude, and our lovely residents who all came together to create a beautiful, relaxing and interactive outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. Our garden beds are filled with scented and visually stimulating plants and vegetables, a new water feature provides movement and tranquillity. Shelley comments: “Our garden has transformed with an extended natural ‘room’ to visit and enjoy by all, an amazing team effort!”
