Rowan Lodge provides a homely atmosphere and family approach to person-centred care along with a stimulating environment for residents with a variety of meaningful and joyful activities and experiences to keep our residents active, happy and healthy. Residents are always free to choose where and how they spend their time.
All-inclusive fees cover hairdressing, physiotherapy, chiropody, days out, and other facilities Rowan Lodge has to offer.
Our dedicated activities team prioritise resident wellbeing by organising a variety of meaningful and joyful group, individual and one-to-one activities and experiences. This includes activities tailored for residents who are less mobile and able. Activities are adapted to the daily wishes of residents, their cultural interests, and supported by life-story work in line with Rowan Lodge’s ethos of a person-centred approach to care.
We involve families in care and activity planning to gain a personal understanding of what really matters to each resident and learn about their favourite pastimes and hobbies so we can tailor activities to suit their preferences. We encourage social interaction and friendship, and support residents with their individual choices.
Listen to what Ann has to say about the care at Rowan Lodge; “They’re all very kind to us, and care for us in every way.”
To provide the care our residents deserve, we set our staffing levels above industry-standard ratios, to enable a more relaxed environment for our residents where person-centred care can be delivered without having to be rushed. We have Nurses on-site 24-hours a day.
Our talented Catering Team provide freshly prepared meals on-site every day, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. We continually look at new and exciting ways to encourage nutrition and hydration. Specific allergy and dietary requests are always catered for.
We think it’s important that you hear from our residents, their families and our great staff. Visit our reviews page to listen to their stories and read the wonderful testimonials on the UK’s leading care home comparison site: www.carehome.co.uk
Choosing a care home can be a difficult and emotional process, so we aim to make it a little easier by providing exceptional care in a happy and homely environment. We involve families in care planning to ensure each resident has an individual care plan that meets all their medical, physical, emotional and social needs, and we work closely with families to ensure that the move for their loved one is a smooth and positive one. Our open-visiting policy means family and friends are welcome at any time.
