Forest Care are opening a brand-new residential care home Elm Lodge in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire in Autumn 2024. Starting salary from £11.70 per hour

We can offer a full time, 40 hour week position or part time of 20 hours per week. Please state your preference when applying. Alternate weekend working will be required for either position, as well as flexible working on occasion up to 7pm.

We are looking for a reliable, caring Activity Co-ordinator who wants to make a difference by contributing to providing the best care possible at all times.

Main Duties of our Activity Co-ordinator;

  • Help to plan and organise programmes of individual and group activities
  • Help to review and evaluate the activities programme so that it is kept up to date and fit for purpose.
  • Work closely with residents, staff and others involved in the organising and the running of events.
  • To undertake any other duties as required by line management

Skills and Experience of our Activity Co-ordinator;

  • Previous experience of organising events and activities within a care home setting (not essential, as training is provided)
  • Good organisational skills
  • A moderate level of computer literacy
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
  • Willing to work towards Level 2 Napa Qualification in Activities

Our Activities Team provide a full and varied activities programme of therapeutic group, individual and one-to-one activities for residents to enjoy. Activities are tailored towards the individual, supported by life story work, in line with Forest Care’s ethos of a person-centered approach to holistic care
