Caring with compassion, dignity, and respect

Forest Care are a proud family-owned and managed company since 1981 with a breadth of experience and industry knowledge, and we pride ourselves on running care homes that are a “home” in the truest sense. Our award-winning private residential and nursing care homes combine luxury living alongside 24-hour nursing, residential, dementia and respite care for the elderly, in purpose-built environments within beautiful Surrey and Hampshire countryside locations.

Every resident has an individual care plan which is regularly reviewed to ensure that it meets all medical, physical, emotional and social needs. Our all-inclusive fee covers complementary therapies including hairdressing, physiotherapy, chiropody, trips out, and other facilities the home has to offer, so you can relax knowing one fee covers all the person-centred care you or your loved one will need.

We are delighted to have won the awards of “Top 20 Care Home South East England” in 2024 and 2022, and “Top 20 Small Care Home Group” in 2022 from carehome.co.uk and ‘Nursing Home of the Year‘ for our specialist dementia care home Holly Lodge at the Surrey Care Awards in 2022.

Our Care Homes

Our care homes in Frimley, Hartley Wintney, Hook and Basingstoke offer high standards of care comfort, security and support in beautiful surroundings.

Help & Advice

Four of our five homes provide 24-hour nursing, residential and respite care, which includes Holly Lodge – our national and regional award-winning specialist dementia care home. Elm Lodge, our brand new care home provides 24-hour residential and respite care. We intentionally hire more staff than the industry average to enable a relaxed environment for our residents where staff can deliver person-centred care. Click here for further information.

Award-winning Meaningful Activities

We provide a diverse and inclusive activities programme for our residents with an array of joyful, meaningful and person-centred activities which always prioritise wellbeing. The activity teams involve families in care and activity planning for a personal understanding of what really matters to each resident, the things they enjoy, their life histories and their achievements, which helps to create a reassuring and stimulating environment.
